Chocolate & Pear Overnight Oats


Ingredients overnight oats:

La Vida Vegan chocolate spread
40 g rolled oats
180 ml plant-based milk
1 tsp coconut oil
1 pear (grated)
cinnamon
vanilla extract
pinch of salt

Optional:
2 tbsp chia seeds
vegan / no bee honey

Toppings:

La Vida Vegan chocolate spread
1 pear (chopped)
almonds





The instructions

  1. Wash one of the pears, remove the core and grate the pear.
  2. Combine the rolled oats, with a dash of cinnamon and a pinch of salt. Use just a hint of vanilla extract.
  3. Add your plant-based milk. The consistency of your oats will be determined by the amount of liquid you use. For thicker oats: use less, for thinner oats: increase the liquid.
  4. Add a spoon of the La Vida Vegan chocolate spread, and add the pears to the mixture.
  5. Also add your chia seeds if you want to use them.
  6. Set them in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.

  7. In the morning (or after 4 hours), put your overnight oats in your favorite bowl.
  8. Add your additional toppings just before serving. Add more pear, some nuts (walnut or almonds), add some more La Vida Vegan chocolate spread and add your vegan / no bee honey for sweetness.
